Below are photos of the classes that were offered at the Spring Retreat held at Western Hills, Wagoner, OK.  Lots of fun, a little work, good food, and wonderful friends both new and old were reunited for a wonderful retreat.

Jim Gatling Presentation

Jim Gatling was our Guest Speaker and gave a wonderful, humorous presentation showing quilts from his studio and quilts his school children designed and created.  See pictures from his presentation.

3D Spring Blossoms

- Get a head start on Spring by making this delicate wall hanging featuring an easy pieced background and three dimensional blossoms.  You can almost smell the fragrance.

- EZ Circles and Curve technique makes this finished 29" x 29" quilt top in a day.  Your circles and curved edges will be smooth, finished, and perfect!

Bleaching & Discharging Color & Paper Cutting

- Cut paper snowflakes, scenes, flower arrangements, and fruit out of freezer paper to use the cutouts as a resist for the discharging process.

Diamonds in the Rough

Duffle Bag

- This bag is 11" x  11" x 23" which is perfect for weekend getaways or retreats.

Embellishments, Embellishments, Embellishments

- Design for the quilter to be able to incorporate 3-dimensional items such as buttons, beads, trinkets, mini toys, jewelry, etc. to their quilts to add 3-D spark and pizazz.

Fast Pieced Crazy Quilt

- Blocks are make in a rotary cut method.  Hand embroidery and machine stitches can be used to finish the quilt.

Mustangs & Arrows

- An easy arrow block using the Delectable Mountain block.  Mustangs are attached with fusible web but other applique figures can be done to personalize your quilt!

- This tote is easy to make and goes just about anywhere...grocery store, quilt shop, mall, beach, slumber parties for the young set.  You probably won't be able to make just one!

- It only takes 8 fat quarters and a wedge ruler to make this spectacular spiral, which will be appliqued to a corrdinating background.  Afraid of the "A" word?  Don't panic, we'll do this step quick and easy by machine.
